About the course

Design systems allow product teams to collaborate in ways that improve the consistency and coherency of a product for users, and enable more efficient internal communication and collaboration. At least in theory!

While a Figma pattern library is only one piece of a design system puzzle, in this course, you’ll learn how to approach your work in Figma with better systems thinking.

As part of the course, you’ll produce a final project either making your own design system from scratch, or reorganizing and enhancing design system work that’s already been done at your company.

In this live online course, you’ll meet for each session with a group of classmates and a lead teacher. We’ll get our hands dirty from the first session, and work toward sharing what we’ve learned and applied with each other by the final session.
