About the course

Designing interfaces and digital content with accessibility and inclusion in mind makes digital experiences better for everyone.

The platforms we design digital products for—in particular the web, iOS, and Android—are brimming with sophisticated features to empower access by more people than ever. And yet, too often digital products fall short by not breaking this functionality and treating accessibility as an afterthought.

In this course we will build a foundation in thinking about digital products and content in inclusive and accessible ways, and put into practice techniques which can be incorporated into our workflows to ensure high quality accessible experiences for everyone.

In this live online course, you’ll meet for each session with a group of classmates and a lead teacher. We’ll get our hands dirty from the first session, and work toward sharing what we’ve learned and applied with each other by the final session.
